Fall Appeal

Dear ,

As I approach the end of my presidential tenure at Bluefield University, I find myself reflecting a bit more each day. Thinking of the many past fundraising appeals and campaigns, I am truly amazed by the generosity of so many. Together, over the past 16 years, we have raised nearly $58 million! This has built new residence halls and academic spaces, created new degree programs meeting the needs of today’s economy, and provided countless scholarships for students with demonstrated need. Thank you for your gifts of during these incredible years of growth. One of my favorite images of this institution has been the “Lighthouse on the Hill.” A Bluefield education builds the foundation of a life well-lived. Will you consider making a gift again this year in continued support of our students and the mission of Bluefield University? As we have seen over the years, this institution can embrace the many exciting opportunities ahead of it with our collective investment. Our direct investments in the academic, athletic, and spiritual pursuits of students light the way for students seeking to Go Further in life. Partnering with you in faithful service,

In addition to the scholarships awarded, just like I received as a student, our students have access to critical resources and services because of the gifts made to The University Fund each year. For this, we are grateful. Director of Counseling, Wellness, and Student Success

Because donors invested in creative media, I was able to elevate the messaging of the University and Rams Athletics through better video content, graphics, and experienced my own professional development as an alum on staff.
