Emory & Henry University, situated in the majestic mountains of Southwest Virginia just off I-81 exit 26 in Emory, Virginia, offers a community filled with engaged student who choose to contribute to a society where they can make a difference. In addition to learning on the Emory Campus, there are four other
academic locations along the E&H Education Corridor, including the Health Sciences Campus in Marion, 75-acre Bartlett-Crowe Field Station in Glade Spring, Barter Theatre in Abingdon, and Intermont Equestrian Center in Bristol. The Appalachian Trail, along with the tallest mountains in Virginia—Mt. Rogers and Whitetop serve as a living and learning environment that offers unique outdoor recreation opportunities like biking, hiking, kayaking, bouldering and fly fishing. With more than 40 academic areas of study, our students discover pathways connected to the world of work that lead to success through our distinctive van Vlissingen Center for Career and Professional Development and Paul Adrian Powell, III Student Success Center. Through integrated liberal arts learning and hands-on experiences, they have connections to support their classroom experiences and projects with domestic or global travel, internships and civic engagement.
