Scripture: Hebrews 13:14; Revelation 21

Meditation: Let us compare death with the departure of an airliner.

 Your Ticket: Envision standing at the gate of departure with your ticket in hand. You had purchased your ticket by faith and had it stamped with the precious blood of Christ. Your fare was paid in full by God's grace, a free gift that you had accepted, and now you are ready to go.  The Flight: You are preparing to board the one way flight to glory land. Flight 777 is leaving at its appointed time, no sooner and no later.  Departure: There is no fear, because the Lord has dispensed sufficient grace for the hour.  Approach to Heaven: As soon as the flight began, the light of that fair city came into clear view. Christ is the light that shines to dispel all darkness. There is only joy as we approach the landing strip at Glory Land Way.  Welcoming Band: Saints on the other side are singing to welcome wayfaring pilgrims home. As we step onto that celestial shore, we gather at the River of Life flowing from the throne of God.

Christ your ticket purchased With His precious life and blood. And, if you choose to follow Him, Your soul will surely live.
