Water will run out of the mat, but most contaminants stay in. PSA(pressure sensitive adhesive) can also be added to the barrier side to hold the mat in place. FIBERGLASS PLUS+ TADPOLE WITH WIRE SILICA TADPOLE Over 16 ounces or 40% more of a typical motor oil can be absorbed per square foot of CleenService™ mat vs. other mats.
