Fiberglass Plus + is the next generation fiberglass fiber capable of 1300°F service versus the typical 1000°F service of standard fiberglass. The best value for an extra 300°F safety margin versus standard fiberglass. McAllister Mills Inc. manufactures Fiberglass Plus + tape to meet various Maintenance Repair and Overhaul conditions. The perfect wrap tape for that higher temperature application, or an extra degree of safety if your application may have cycles or peaks above 1000°F ratings of normal fiberglass. When selected with available vermiculite coating, you can add additional abrasion resistance and intermittent protection to 2000°F. Fiberglass Plus + value is to the extreme, often times similar in price to competitive standard fiberglass products. Fiberglass Plus + material resists most acids, alkalis and solvents.
