DEMO DAY Spring 2024

-

Welcome

Hello and welcome to our Spring 2024 Demo Day! Demo Day is the finale of the RAMP in-residence program. We take this time to celebrate our cohort of exceptional founders for all their hard work and perseverance in illuminating an array of challenges facing markets, communities, and our society. Our 12-week intensive RAMP in-residence program pushes founders to explore new

worlds, new mindsets, and their own strengths and weaknesses. Through a variety of skills and practices, each team immerses themselves in the nastiest and most complicated problems facing their organizations and customers. During each presentation, we ask you to do two things. First, imagine a world where our Founders have solved their respective challenges. What does that world look like? How does it change the course of your life, the direction of our region, and our world’s prosperity? Second, I ask you to listen carefully to their pitches and think about how you can play a positive role in their stories. It takes the entire ecosystem for a venture to flourish. We invite you to engage, ask questions, and explore partnerships. Your presence and evangelism play a pivotal role in empowering these startups to reach greater heights. Thank you for being a part of the RAMP community. With our Founders at the helm, we can continue to grow our ecosystem to be the jewel of our region. Best, John Hagy, Director of RAMP

Bacchus Therapeutics is a biotech company that exploits cancer’s hypermetabolic state by targeting specific cancer metabolic pathways. We identified a novel pathway to target that is synthetic lethal to the cancer-causing gene, MYC. Our drug is translatable to all MYC-driven cancers, which encompass about 50-70% of all cancers.
