Dear Friends: Please plan to join us on Saturday, December 11 at noon at the Culpeper Agricultural Enterprises as we host the 64th Annual Culpeper Senior Bull Sale. We extend a big thank you to Steve and Blake Hopkins at Riverview Farms for the excellent job they have done developing the bulls. Their interest and investment in in BCIA to carry forward the long history and tradition of the Culpeper program, and playing a key role in shaping the future is very much appreciated. We invite you to come see Riverview Farms’ new bull development facility outside Louisa by joining us for the Open House which will be held on Sunday December 5, from 1:00-4:00 p.m. This will be an excellent time to view the bulls and visit with the breeders and everyone involved- we hope you can join us! The Culpeper Senior program is the oldest, most continuously operated bull test program in the nation. We continue to be committed to what brought us to this point- providing genetics that work, and standing behind the bulls we sell. The consignors are committed to these goals now more than ever. We encourage you to study the pedigree, performance, and phenotype of these bulls. We are confident you will find the quality runs deep across breeds with bulls to fit multiple needs depending on your breeding program goals. The sale will be available online through LiveAuctions.tv. If you cannot join us in person, we hope this service provides you the ability to participate in the sale. See details contained in this catalog. Complimenting this, video is available on all the bulls which can be accessed on the BCIA website. As always, we will have bidding available over the telo-auction or feel free to give one of us a call if you need assistance prior to or during the sale. We would be happy to assist you any way we can to secure a bull that meets your needs All bulls selling have passed a complete breeding soundness exam, including semen evaluation, as specified by the Society for Theriogenology. Volume buyer discounts are available with the purchase of three or more bulls. All bulls sell with the BCIA enhanced guarantee, which provides assurance for soundness and fertility, and a promise to you from the breeders that they stand behind their product. Again this year, we will provide complimentary delivery for bulls following the sale. Feel free to stop by Riverview Farms near Louisa any time to view the bulls. Contact any of the consignors, Steve 540-205-7798 or Blake 540-223-1886 at Riverview Farms, or myself at 540-231-9159 if we can be of assistance in any way. We hope to see you on Saturday, December 11!

Sincerely,

Scott P. Greiner BCIA Educational Advisor
