Pete Shrock, for the past 15 years, has served as an emotional first responder in situations of grief, trauma, and crisis, both locally and on a national level. His early contributions in social work led to a 10-year career as the Chief Program Officer for Comfort Zone Camp, a bereavement camp for children. Pete’s belief in supplying people with the tools they need to foster community self-care and healing proved successful at both Comfort Zone Camp and in
trauma situations nationwide, where he supported the Navy SEAL community and those affected by the tragedies at 9/11, Sandy Hook, and Virginia Tech. Most recently, Pete partnered with Craig Shealy and Matt Paxton to create Legacy Navigator, a full-service estate management company. As Chief People Officer, Pete brings a deep understanding of the grief that accompanies death or other difficult transitions like downsizing or divorce. When Pete isn’t delivering keynotes and workshops around the country, he lives in Richmond with his wife and two young daughters.
