Frank “Bucky” Blackwell of Mullens, WV passed away on Saturday, January 4, 2025, at CAMC Memorial Hospital after a long, courageous battle with sarcoma. Bucky graduated from Marshall University with a bachelor’s in elementary education in 1969, followed by a master's in educational administration in 1971. Robert “Ted” Rogers passed away on Aug. 1, leaving behind a remarkable legacy of dedication, service, and community spirit. Ted graduated from Berea College in 1954 wtwitohyaeabrasc.helor’s degree in agriculture and then served his country in the US Army for When he returned, Ted began a successful career with the Southern States Rogers Farm Supply in Hinton. He founded R.T. Rogers Oil Co., Inc. in 1971. Under his leemadpeloryseheips,btehfeocreomheparnetyirgerdewinf2ro0m08t.hree employees to a thriving business of over 100 Ted was an esteemed member of the community, serving on numerous boards throughout West Virginia, including the Hinton Area Foundation and the Concord University Board of Governors.
