She is also a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, previously serving as the state's Young Fellows Association representative and now serving as secretary/treasurer of the West Virginia chapter. In addition, she is a medical advisor to the West Virginia Breast and Cervical Cancer Screening Program and a member of the American Society of Breast Surgeons. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, John, and their two daughters, Hazel and Ruby.
