The Community Foundation of the Virginias recently marked a significant milestone, celebrating three decades of dedicated service and community development. In honor of this anniversary, we launched the "30 for 30" campaign, an initiative that invited the community to partake in the spirit of giving, suggesting a modest donation of one dollar for each year of the Foundation's impactful presence. The response was heartwarming, with contributions amounting to $7,400. The campaign's success was further amplified by the generous matching donation from Norfolk Southern Corporation , doubling the total to $14,800 . This act of corporate partnership not only bolstered the campaign's outcome but also underscored the shared commitment to fostering community growth. The Foundation expressed gratitude for every contribution, acknowledging that each donation represents a shared belief in our mission and a collective investment in the community's future.
