ROCKIN’ MAIN CONCERT SERIES Dates/Times: Saturday, May 14 5-9 p.m. Location: Main Street Admission: FREE

Additional Information: New location! For the spring, we’ve moved our Rockin’ Main Concert Series down Main Street to include Main Street and a portion of Roanoke Street. Come out and celebrate food and music in downtown Chris- tiansburg! Live performances by local bands Jimothy and The Jared Stout Band. Attendees can purchase yummy food and drinks from a selection of food trucks and wine and beer vendors. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs to sit and enjoy the live performances.

Come enjoy a variety of foods from food trucks from across SW Virginia! Live performances by local favorite Barren Minds and Lyn Avenue from Savannah, Georgia. Attendees can purchase drinks from a selection wine and beer vendors. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs to sit and enjoy the live performances. 24 TH ANNUAL FOURTH OF JULY CELEBRATION Dates/Times: Monday, July 4 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Rain Date: Tuesday, July 5 th (fireworks only) Location: Event is on Main Street; fireworks will be launched near the future Christiansburg Signature Park. Admission: FREE Additional Information: Join us in Downtown Christiansburg for our annual Fourth of July Celebration! This fami- ly-friendly event features live music, an array of food trucks, arts and crafts vendors, a kids’ zone, and more! Fireworks will start around 9:15pm near the new Christiansburg Signature Park. They can be viewed from the Uptown Mall or Walmart parking lots. If event is rained out, fireworks will be on July 5, with no event. CHS SOFTBALL CAMP This camp will be instructed by the head coach Robin Boyd, and the staff and players of this year’s CHS softball team. They will be teaching you the fundamentals of baseball. This should be quality instruction from a successful high school baseball program. Please bring any equipment that you may need, with you. All participants will receive a t-shirt. Registration Dates Eligibility Date Time Location Fees May 2 - June 10 Ages 7-13 June 15-16 9 am - 12 noon CHS Softball Field $30.00 "SIZZLING SUMMER" NERF CHALLENGE This event will test your skills in both accuracy and stealth as you and your teammates work to capture the opponents flags. You will be split up into teams of 5, for the competition. You may bring one of your own nerf blasters with you. We will also have some provided if you don’t have one and would like to participate. Registration Dates Eligibility Date Time Location Fees May 30 - July 15 Ages 8 - 18 July 21 10:00 am Recreation Center $5.00 per participant CHS BASEBALL CLINIC This camp is being instructed by head coach Dale Nelson, and the CHS Baseball staff and players. They will be teaching you the fundamentals of baseball. This should be quality instruction from a successful high school baseball program. Please bring any equipment that you may need, with you. They will be teaching the fundamentals of volleyball. Topics that will be discussed and practiced include serving, bumping, setting, spiking, and basic gameplay. This would be a great way to meet the coaches and players of the urre t CHS program. It will give the program a chance to work with their fut re stars.
