All are challenged to improve skills, develop friends and understanding of each other's capabilities through a spirit of equality of team unity. CHRISTIANSBURG/MONTGOMERY TRIAD S.A.L.T. COUNCIL The Christiansburg/Montgomery Triad S.A.L.T.

(Seniors and Law Enforcement Working Together) Council works on various projects to benefit senior citizens in the community. The council meets every third Tuesday of the month at 1:30 p.m. at the Christiansburg Recreation Cen- ter; meetings are open to all senior citizens to attend. This program is spon- sored by the Christiansburg/Montgomery Triad Council and Christiansburg Police Department. For more information, please contact. Protect your important infor- mation and clean out the clutter. For more information, contact Tammy Caldwell, 540-382-2349 ext. 2003 or email: tcaldwell@christiansburg.org. This is a drive- through event; no walk-ups will be allowed. Papers to be shredded are preferred to be in plastic storage bin or box, no bigger than 22.5x18x11.5. Limit 3 per car. Please make sure you only have documents to be shredded. Additional Information: The Christiansburg Farmers Market features local farmers and vendors each Thursday. Season- al produce, plants, fresh baked goods, crafts, fresh flowers, and handmade jewelry are some of the items available for purchase. Items for purchase vary week-to-week. Check our Facebook page for details about weekly themes, prizes, vendors, and live music.
