FALL PREVENTION AWARENESS FAIR Additional Information: Join us for health screenings, information and tips to help prevent falls, giveaways and light refreshments. Register for our door prize. Day Time Location Wednesday, Oct. 13 8:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. Christiansburg Rec Center Lobby THANKSGIVING LUNCHEON Additional Information: Join us for our annual Thanksgiving luncheon. Enjoy spending time with friends and giving thanks. Menu: Turkey, dressing, gravy, macaroni and cheese, sweet potato casserole, rolls, dessert, and drinks. INDIVIDUALS WITH INTELLECTUAL DISABILITIES IN THE NEW RIVER VALLEY The Christiansburg Recreation Center co–sponsors inclusive programs for people with and without intellectual disabil- ities. All are challenged to improve skills, develop friendships and understanding of each other’s capabilities through a spirit of equality and team unity. For information or to register for a program, contact Shelia Roop at (540) 381-0310. PLEASE NOTE: CURRENT STATE AND FEDERAL GUIDELINES WILL BE FOLLOWED, INCLUDING MAINTAINING SOCIAL DISTANCING AND WEARING FACE MASKS WHILE PARTICPATING PROGRAMS. ROOMS WILL BE SET UP FOR CLASSES.
