Meet our New Teachers

Carrie Moyer First Grade

Dr. Rudy Lurz MS/US English

I am blessed with an amazing assistant this year Mrs. Lynn Drapac. I am originally from Richmond Virginia and have been a teacher for 7 years. I have two grown boys ages 21 and 18, and couldn ’ t be prouder of them! My husband and I are high school sweethearts and graduated from The University of Tennessee. GO VOLS!

This is Rudy Lurz with his wife, Becca, exploring a brewery. That's one of his favorite hobbies when he's not chasing his toddler daughter around. He enjoys writing and traveling with his family. He's excited to be teaching English at RCS.

This is the Jellerson family in Epcot this past summer! (Gwen and Kevin and 2nd grader Zach, Kindergartener Audrey, and Early Learner Haley.)

Tara Bouknight Music/Choir I am so happy to introduce you to my family. My husband Philip is pastor at Trinity Ecumenical Parish in Moneta, VA. Our three children are our pride and joy: Anna - 18, Joshua - 17, and Sara - 15. "Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from Him." Psalm 127:3 - 5

Here I am with my husband John and son Benjamin while sailing on a river cruise on the York River in Yorktown, VA during spring break. I look forward to being a part of this faithful, educational community and getting to know you all.
