President’s Report

We are excited to share that Celco Community Credit Union has celebrated another financially strong year. So, thank you, to all of our members for making 2024 another remarkable successful year, you are the reason we can celebrate our 68th year of service. All year long, your Credit Union has worked tirelessly to make your life easier and strengthen your financial future. Through innovative services, personalized support, and a commitment to your success, we’ve focused on providing solutions that meet your needs and help you thrive. We are currently participating in the CO-OP Shared Branch Network: national network allows members of one participating credit union to conduct a range of transactions (like deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments) at any other participating credit union, essentially like treating it like your home branch (Celco). So, if you are out of town and you need to make a deposit or a loan payment stop in to a Credit Union that participates in CO-OP and make your deposit or payment. It’s just another way, that we at Celco Community Credit Union are trying to make life more convenient for you. Also, we have Expanded Our Field of Membership , if you LIVE, WORK, WORSHIP, or ATTEND SCHOOL in Bland, Craig, Giles, Montgomery, Pulaski, or Wythe counties, Virginia ; and Mercer, Monroe, or Summers counties, West Virginia : or Radford city, Virginia, you can now get your friends, family and love ones to join Celco Community Credit Union. To make life more convenient, we have four ATM locations: Our newest ATM is located at 250 Virginia Avenue, Rich Creek, the others are located at our Narrows office, Pembroke branch and Carilion Giles Community Hospital. Celco Community Credit Union continues to remain a major contributor to programs in our community such as the A.C.C.E. Program (Access to Community College Education), local school programs, Police and Fire Departments, and other community projects. As we look ahead, your Credit Union will continue to go above and beyond offering tailored financial solutions while recognizing the unique needs that make each of our members special. Our members are at the heart of everything we do and we’ll continue delivering meaningful value in the years ahead. On behalf of the Board of Directors, I would like to thank the office staff and our volunteers for their hard work and continued dedication to the Celco Community Credit Union. Respectively, Jeff Morris , President

Loan Review Committee Report The Board of Directors appoints the Loan Review Committee to review loans as needed. The committee’s objective is to ensure that the members whose loans have been denied have a fair opportunity to appeal the denial. We at Celco Community Federal Credit Union understand the importance of timely decision making regarding our members lending needs. That is why the Board of Directors have empowered the loan officers at Celco Community to make lending decisions up to their respective lending authority, without making our membership wait for the Loan Review Committee to meet to approve loans. In the event a loan is denied, the member can appeal the loan to the Loan Review Committee for consideration, at which time the committee would meet to review the loan application. The committee considers each appeal on an individual basis and makes a decision on whether or not the Credit Union will reconsider the denied loan. Dedicated to Patricia Meredith Crotty January 29, 1940 – April 13, 2025

Patty Meredith Crotty was born January 29, 1940, in Rich Creek, Virginia to the parents of Joseph and Irene Meredith. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She passed away peacefully at the age of 85 after a courageous battle with dementia. Patty lived a life full of love and generosity. She married her husband Cecil Crotty on April 7, 1979. They later adopted their son Rick, forming a deeply bonded and loving family. After Cecil’s passing, Patty opened her heart again by hosting international exchange students, who became part of her extended family. Even in retirement, she returned to caregiving, working in both child and adult daycare programs. Patty’s faith, strength, and joy in giving were the cornerstones of her life. She was a guiding light too many and will be lovingly remembered for her warm heart, gentle spirit, and enduring legacy. Patty devoted over four decades of her life to serving others through her work at the Celco Federal Credit Union in Narrows, VA. She started her career as a teller in 1960. As the credit union grew over the years and evolved into Celco Community Federal Credit Union, she became a Loan Officer and later retired as a Visa Coordinator after 43 years of dedicated and compassionate service. After retirement Patty continued her dedication and service to the credit union serving on the Board of Directors, and volunteering at credit union events. She worked behind the scenes along with others to make Celco Community FCU events the best for the membership. Her kindness and professionalism touched generations of members in her community. Patty will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.
