BASKETBALL CLINIC This clinic is being instructed by Nicole Epperly. She has been one of our recreation league coaches as well as an AAU coach. She also has experience in coaching high school and some college. This will be a great fundamental clinic for your child. Please bring a ball and any other necessary equipment with you. Registration Dates Eligibility Date Time Location Fees Until Dec. 23 Grades K-2 December 28 9:00 am-11:00 am Recreation Center $10.00 Until Dec. 23 Grades 3-5 December 28 11:15 am-1:15 pm Recreation Center $10.00 NERFING IN THE NEW YEAR NERF CHALLENGE Participants will sign up individually and will be split up the day of event into teams of 5. Each division will have a 2 hr time slot to play. We will have an 8-10, 11-13, and a 14-18 division. If there aren’t enough in either division we will combine everybody. You will be allowed to bring your own nerf blasters as long as they can project the blue nerf elite darts, subject to be checked. We will have some available for use, if you don’t have one. We hope this will allow us to grow the program. Registration Dates Eligibility Date Time Location Fees Until Dec. 30 Ages 8-18 January 6 10:00 am Recreation Center $5.00 per participant CHS VOLLEYBALL CLINIC This camp is being instructed by Lisa Dalton and the staff of the CHS Volleyball program. They will be teaching the fundamen tals of volleyball. Topics that will be discussed and practiced include serving, bumping, setting, spiking, and basic gameplay. This would be a great way to meet the coaches and players of the current CHS program. It will give the program a chance to work with their future stars. Registration Dates Eligibility Date Time Location Fees By December 23 Ages 5-13 December 29 5 - 7 p.m. Recreation Center $15.00 SPORTS CARD EXCHANGE This is a new program designed to take advantage of the increased interest in the sports card industry, as well as the youths interests in sports. Youths, ages 8-14 are invited to bring their cards in, and trade with other youths with the same interests. Limited adult participation will be allowed. Registration Dates Eligibility Date Time Location Fees Dec. 5 - Jan. 20 Ages 8-14 January 22 2:00 pm Recreation Center Free RADFORD UNIVERSITY BASKETBALL CLINIC This camp will be instructed by the “new” Radford University Men’s Basketball team and coaches. They will be instructing all participants on the fundamentals of the game of basketball from dribbling to shooting to defense. This is quality instruction from a solid Division I program.
