Additional Information: The Christiansburg Parks and Recreation Department has arranged for Santa to personally call children 8 years old and younger on December 5. For Santa to call, you need to complete a form at the Christiansburg Recreation Center or online at www.christiansburg.org/recreation and return it by 5pm Monday, November 28. Santa may need more time to call all the children so if you do not receive a call on December 5, you will be called on December 6. Please keep your phone line open. CHRISTMAS ON MAIN: CHRISTMAS PARADE AND CHRISTMAS AT THE MARKET Dates/Times: Friday, December 9 Market 5-8 p.m., Christmas Tree Lighting 6:50 p.m., Parade 7-9 p.m. Location: Main Street Additional Information: Each December, the Town holds its annual Christmas at the Market, Tree Lighting Ceremony, and Christmas Parade. Deadline to be a vendor at the Christmas at the Market or to enter a float into the parade is Monday, November 21 at 5 p.m. WINTER WONDERLAND Dates/Times: Saturday, December 10, 6-8 p.m. Location: Christiansburg Recreation Center Additional Information: Join us for a fun evening of Christmas-themed games, activities in Santa’s Workshop, hot chocolate and cookies, Christmas caroling, a visit from Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus, and much more!

EGG-TREME EASTER EGG PARTY Dates/Times: Friday, April 7 at 8 p.m. Location: TBD Admission: Canned food donation Ages: 18 & up

Additional Information: Easter egg hunts aren't just for kids anymore! This egg hunt is sure to be a wild time! Can you find Easter eggs in the dark? If you can, you could win prizes! Participants must have a flashlight to participate. Please register online or at the Rec Center. We ask that each participant brings a canned food item to be donated to a local food pantry. This event is for ages 18 and up.

Christiansburg Parks & Recreation and the Kiwanis Club of Christiansburg host the Great Christiansburg Easter Egg Hunt each year for children ages 12 and under. Children bring their own baskets and search for surprises the Easter Bunny has left behind! Children are divided into age groups for the hunts. You can only hunt in your age group; you cannot go up or down an age group. Please arrive early to claim your spot for your hunt area. The hunts will start at the times above and you can only hunt in your age group (cannot go up or down an age group). The Easter Bunny also stops by each year to take photos!
