CHRISTIANSBURG FARMERS MARKET Dates/Times: Thursdays May 15 th - October 30 th from 3-7 p.m. Location: Christiansburg Recreation Center Parking Lot Admission: FREE

Additional Information: The Christiansburg Farmers Market features local farmers and vendors each Thursday. Seasonal pro duce, plants, fresh baked goods, handmade soaps, crafts, fresh flowers, and handmade jewelry are some of the possible items available for purchase. Items for purchase vary week-to-week. Check our Facebook page for details about monthly themes, prizes, vendors, and live music.

SPRING KICK-OFF FESTIVAL Dates/Times: Saturday, April 5 th at 6-9pm Location: Recreation Center (outside) Admission: FREE

Additional Information: Join the party when the Town of Christiansburg hosts its Spring Kickoff Festival. We will have live mu sic, a bonfire, games, and many other activities. Local food trucks will be on hand to satisfy your food cravings! ALL ACTIVITIES AND GAMES ARE FREE! The event is recommended for 18 years old and up. Please bring your ID if you would like to purchase beer or wine. This is an outdoor event. A limited number of tables and chairs will be available. However, attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs to sit around one of the bonfires and enjoy the evening.

ADULT EGG-STREME EASTER EGG PARTY Date: Friday April 11 th Location: Christiansburg Huckleberry Park

Music and yard games begin at 7 p.m. Hunt times: Ages 65+ - 8:15 p.m.

18 & over Adults with Disabilities - 8:15 p.m. Ages 40-64 - 8:30 p.m. Ages 18-39 - 8:45 p.m.

Additional Information: Easter egg hunts aren't just for kids anymore! This egg hunt is sure to be a wild time! Can you find Easter eggs in the dark? If you can, you could win prizes! You WILL NOT want to miss out! Before the Easter egg hunt we will have concessions and games available. Participants must have a flashlight to participate. We ask that each participant bring a canned food item to be donated to a local food pantry. Please wear athletic clothing and shoes. This event for ages 18 and up.

GREAT EASTER EGG HUNT Date: Saturday April 19 Location: Kiwanis Park, 429 Kiwanis Ln SE Times: 9:30 a.m. - Children with Disabilities (17 & under) 10 a.m. - ages 3-5

10:15 a.m. - ages 6-8 10:30 a.m. - ages 9-12 10:45 a.m. - ages under 3

Christiansburg Parks & Recreation and the Kiwanis Club of Christiansburg host the Great Easter Egg Hunt each spring for chil dren. The event is free to the community. Children bring their own baskets and search for surprises the Easter Bunny has left behind! Children are divided into age groups for the hunts. You can only hunt in your age group; you cannot go up or down an age group. Please arrive early to claim your spot for your hunt area. The Easter Bunny will also stop by to take photos!
