Guidelines for Article Submissions
We encourage our members/readers to submit articles of interest for publication in future issues.

1. All submissions are edited for clarity, consistency, style and accuracy.
2. Please cite your sources. Unless you did the research yourself, are speaking from your own experience or are using common knowledge, you must give credit to the source of your information. Use footnotes or any style of citation you prefer. If you have questions about what constitutes plagiarism, consult a writer’s handbook or contact us. We’ll be glad to help.
All the contributors are long since deceased, but the information for this article was derived from interviews with these individuals before their death.
3. Please include your telephone number and/or email address with your submission.
4. We do not require that submissions be typed, but they must be legible. CD, thumb drive or emails are also accepted. 5. Submissions are accepted at any time but we reserve the right to publish it in the most pertinent issue of the Chronicles. 6. Publication of your article is not guaranteed; The Editorial Staff reserves the right to make final decisions regarding publication. Unpublished articles will be placed on file for research purposes. 7. All submissions become the property of the Carroll County Historical Society unless prior arrangements are made.
