FUNDS WITHIN THE FOUNDATION

A fund can be established with $10,000 in a single contribution or in installments over a five-year period. Contributions can be made in any amount to the listed funds.

THE AMERICAN ELECTRIC POWER COMMUNITY SERVICE FUND This is a Donor-Advised Fund to address health, hunger and housing problems. THE AMMAR FAMILY MEMORIAL FUND For the purpose of beautification in the City of Bluefield area. THE ANONYMOUS FUND To support changing community needs. THE ROBERT AUSTIN FAMILY SCHOLARSHIP FUND To support students attending Bluefield College. THE FANNIE KATE AND BETTY GARDNER BAILEY FUND Betty Gardner Bailey established this Fund in 1995 in memory of her mother, Fannie Kate Gardner Bailey. This fund seeks to encourage and foster the Arts and Humanities and supports organizations that care for cats. THE B. G. “BEV” AND RACHEL BLALOCK FAMILY FUND This Donor-Designated Fund supports Bible in the Schools. THE BLUEFIELD UNIVERSITY FUND This is a Donor-Designated Fund to benefit Bluefield University for the purpose of carrying out its general mission in all aspects including providing scholarship assistance to students of Mercer and Tazewell County. THE BLUEFIELD DAILY TELEGRAPH LITERACY FUND To promote literacy initiatives within the Daily Telegraph’s market area. THE BLUEFIELD HIGH SCHOOL ENDOWMENT FUND Supports all facets of educational and instructional programs and activities. THE BLUEFIELD HIGH SCHOOLS’ ALUMNI FUND This fund is for scholarship assistance to students who might not otherwise be able to continue their education. THE BHS CLASS OF ’56 FUND This fund was established by the Bluefield High School Class of 1956 to provide assistance to Bluefield High School for emerging needs. THE BLUEFIELD HIGH SCHOOL CLASS OF 1963 SCHOLARSHIP FUND This fund was established to provide scholarships to students at Bluefield High School who plan to study business or education. THE JANE BOBBITT SCHOLARSHIP FUND This fund is for graduating seniors of Princeton Senior High School who plan to major in This fund is established for the purpose of all areas of grantmaking within the Foundation with preference given to human needs including but not limited to food kitchens, remedial reading programs and free medical clinics. THE BOVENIZER PHARMACY SCHOLARSHIP ENDOWMENT This fund supports pharmacy school scholarships. THE PAT AND HAROLD BREWSTER MEMORIAL FUND This Donor-Designated Fund supports the Mercer County Humane Society. THE DON AND BRENDA BROHARD SCHOLARSHIP FUND This fund provides scholarship assistance to graduating seniors of Princeton Senior High School who plan to attend WVU and major in Business or Education. THE CHARLES AND REBECCA CARTER FUND This fund benefits organizations who assist the less fortunate, encourage independence and self-sufficiency, and who provide a Christian environment for the safe and nurturing care of abused children. THE ALFRED AND SHIRLEY WAMPLER CAUDILL ENDOWMENT FUND This fund is in memory of Alfred Caudill and in honor of Shirley Wampler Caudill, established to support educational activities at all levels.
