FROM THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Community Foundation of the Virginias, Inc.

At the end of this year, the 31st year of community foundation presence in our area, the members of the Board of Directors and staff of the Community Foundation of the Virginias, Inc. wish to express our deep appreciation for the wonderful support from our communities. The generosity of our communities has allowed the Foundation to grow from its meager beginnings to an organization with roughly $15 million in invested assets. That amount enables us to fund so many more organizations and their good work, and so many more young people seeking to further their education. And the primary reason for that growth is the contributions from fund donors and others donors who have so generously supported us with contributions and participation in our fund-raising events. So, from all of us at the Community Foundation of the Virginias, Inc., thank you, and we hope you will continue your wonderful support of the Foundation.
