Dear Friend, Serving Wythe and Bland counties since 1995, BHMC began as a “free clinic.” Today BHMC is known as a hybrid/expanded clinic, serving patients of all ages who are without health insurance, have Medicaid, Medicare or commercial insurance. BHMC provides acute, chronic and preventive care as well as services for the community as a whole. While the clinic model changed, clinic services expanded and BHMC strengthened its delivery of services during the last few years, it has remained true to its Mission. Operating as a nonprofit since 2004, BHMC relies on grants, donations and fundraising in order to continue providing program services to this vulnerable population in our community. This is where YOU can help! We have worked diligently to make our community aware of the need that exists as well as how crucial increased support will be for the success of the clinic. This
