Additional Information: Join us for our annual festival on Main Street in Christiansburg from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. We will have ven- dors, music, a kid's area, etc. At approximately 9:15 p.m., come watch one of the area's biggest firework shows. Fireworks can be viewed from the NRV Mall or Walmart parking lots. If we must go to a rain date, there will only be fireworks, no festival. Date Time Location July 4 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Main Street July 4 9:15 p.m. Fireworks will be launched near the future Regional Park/Truman Wilson Property NRVHBA HOME EXPO 2019 MONTGOMERY MUSEUM HERITAGE DAY Date: August 24 Time: 10 a.m. − 3 p.m. Location: Main St/Montgomery Museum and Lewis Miller Regional Art Center, 300 Pepper Street in Christiansburg Additional Information: Come and experience the past on Saturday, August 24 at the Montgomery Museum and Lewis Miller Regional Art Center Heritage Day and on Main St. The popular annual event features artisans demonstrating their craft, music, silent auction pie cook-off, children's activities, technology item raffle, and more. EIGHT MILE BRIDGE CHALLENGE WALK Date: Saturday, September 21 Time: 8:15 a.m. Registration: July 15 - September 9 Location: Christiansburg Parks and Recreation Center & Huckleberry Trail Fee: FREE - the walk is limited to the first 70 participants, each participant gets a shirt.
Additional Information: Check in begins at 8 a.m. on the day of the walk at the Christiansburg Recreation Center. A shuttle bus departs for the Blacksburg Library at 8:30 a.m. 17 & under must be accompanied by an adult. No animals are permitted on the shuttle bus.
