MGT 3013 Foundations of Management Foundations of Management is the study of the foundational principles of organizational management. Primary emphasis is placed on analysis of theory, principles of sound busi- ness practice, organizational structure, and managerial functions. MGT 3103 Business Communication Business Communication encompasses all types of communication required to function ef- fectively as a leader in an organization. Communications fundamentals, business English, correspondence, written reports, oral communication, employment communications, and other special communication applications will be emphasized. MGT 3113 Management & Finance Management & Finance provides an introduction to entrepreneurship and financial termi- nology and principles with a focus on both managerial and personal financial decisions. The impact of budgeting, risk, the time value of money, business plans, marketing, and financial analysis will be examined from an entrepreneurial, managerial and personal per- spective. MGT 3153 Business Research Methods Business Research Methods is designed to introduce the use of quantitative and qualitative research tools in conducting action research in organizations.
