ART 1013 Drawing Fundamentals An introduction to basic drawing techniques and media including the application and safe use of techniques and materials. Classroom exposure to art principles (value, line, compo-
sition, etc.) (Alternate Years) ART 1033 Design Problems
Line, color, texture, and form in a variety of methods and applications including the ap- plication and safe use of techniques and materials. One hour lecture, five hours studio per week. (Alternate Years) ART 1413 Art Appreciation An introductory study of the visual arts, principles, relationships between art and culture, and history of art. Three hours lecture per week. (Every Year) ART/COM 1723 Intro to Graphic Design Photoshop & Illustrator An introduction to graphic design and teaching of the key fundamentals of Adobe Photo- shop and Adobe Illustrator (Every Year) ART 2013 Figure Drawing Drawing from life including the application and safe use of techniques and materials. Em- phasis is on developing the ability to comprehend and record the human figure. One hour lecture and five studio hours per week. (Alternate Years) ART 2043 Printmaking I An introduction to the fundamentals of printmaking including the application and safe use of techniques and materials.
