50-Year-Reunion

After graduation, I enrolled at Virginia Tech where I completed an undergraduate degree in Elementary Education, as well as a Masters Degree. I began working for the Roanoke City School System until I married Peter Taylor on July 17, 1982.

We both worked in Bluefield and raised two daughters, Ashby and Virginia.

We now have six grandchildren, ages 5 through 20.

I worked for the Mercer County School System until I retired in 2017. I also had the privilege of working for Concord University. Community service has been very important to our family. Peter has served both the Bluefield City Board and the Bluefield Union Mission for seven years.

Bluefield High School provided me with wonderful memories as well as life - long friends.
