50-Year-Reunion

From time to time, I still visit with Mr. Bourne at his home and I listen closely to his wisdom. He looks at me and he grins as he speaks … I can't help but believe he is proud of me. “ What a positive influence, ” and it all started with that '75 BEAVER. Once more, I decided it was time to do something different, another personal transition, so I am growing this “ Santa beard. ” Yep! You guessed it … Momma wants me to shave it. There's no pleasing a woman, even if it's Momma and you love her more than anything! After much thought, I have decided that I'm keeping the beard … besides, it gets me lots of attention wherever I go … little kids think I am Santa! ( I wonder … is this a future career path? ) You know what? “ I'm loving it! ”

Covid touched everyone. No one but me knew the secret cure. Now is a good time to reveal it! Side effect: It ’ ll make you fat!

After that nappy shaved head, I cleaned up and trimmed up. First school pic without hair. I was still country!

Last function before I moved back to WV. A new CD was released in Jonesboro TN with some of my work on it by the Gary Hensley band just northwest of Bristol. Only one way to go! My finger points the way: UP!
