50-Year-Reunion

Moved to Louisville, Kentucky June, 1976. Went for part of nursing school, but took care of my grandparents.

Worked 41.5 years mostly at Saint Mary and Elizabeth Hospital, briefly in nursing home, or home health care. I wore many hats as a unit secretary, recovery room, endoscopy tech -- all while raising my wonderful three! Christopher, born 1985, twins, son, Aaron, daughter, Ashlee, born April, 1988. Sadly, lost my oldest son, Chris, this May, 2025, but God gave us time for our goodbyes, and we poured out our hearts to each other. I love to cook, and gardening is my therapy. Even while working, my kids would beg, “ Mom, please no take out. I want your home cooking! ”
