After graduation my life took me down many avenues, some good and some not so good. But, no matter what, I have never backed away from any opportunity or challenge. I have given 100% of myself to the workforce, and all in all, it has made me a very strong and motivated person because of the family values that were instilled in me by my honest and hard - working parents. I am married to my dedicated husband, Larry, and we share a daughter, Laura, who lives in Richmond, Virginia with her husband, Joshua, and their daughter, Layton. My greatest achievements in life are being a Mom and Maw Maw, and I thank God for blessing me with health and a sound mind to watch them both grow up. I love to play the piano. I am an environmental activist, and I like genealogy research. My true passion in life is supporting Veterans, and helping the homeless, and less fortunate.

In my spare time, I like taking walks in the wilderness and relaxing on the beach, and enjoying my life to the fullest.
