Hi Classmates!! “ Just the facts, ma ’ am! ” I went to work at PEMCO in Bluefield, Virginia in 1977 after 1 1/2 years of college majoring in marijuana studies. In 1982, I married my first wife, Gail, and we were married 19 years, being blessed with my son, Alex, and my daughter, Lyndsey. Alex currently works representing the Florida Teachers Association and Lyndsey wears many hats working for a physical therapy company in Afton, Virginia. Gail and I divorced in 2001 and remain good friends. I remarried in 2005, and my wife, Annie and I are celebrating 20 years of marriage on July 23 of this year. Annie is a pediatric physical therapist now for over 40 years, and loves working with children. Having earned my B.S. degree in counseling in 1985, I started a second career in 2007 as a “ day treatment counselor ” working with behaviorally challenged kids in the public school system, which I did until 2022. I now work part - time for Highlands Community Services teaching “ parenting ” and “ fathering ” classes, both in our regional jail and in our local community. Annie and I are active in our church and also in playing music locally as a duet and also in a band arrangement. We also go and sing for the inmates at Northeast Correctional Facility in Mountain City, Tennessee at various points throughout the year which we count a great privilege. I love a good book, playing music, hanging out with my girl, walks in the woods, meals with my family, a good IPA and all the great music we enjoyed as kids. My oldest stepson, Mark, lives and works in Bristol, Virginia, and my youngest, John, is an attorney in Knoxville. My step grand - daughter, Riley is in school at East Tennessee State University studying business. Pets at present: two dogs, Duke and Dolly (labs) and eight rescue cats, Spanky, Bootsy, Franky, Ruthie Grace, Stevie Ray, Eddie Van, Alfie, and Rocky.

Blessings to you all, and trusting that each of you and your families are doing well!
