-CAST BIOS Felix Hooper (Gomez Addams) Felix is excited to be back on the BHS stage for his Senior year. Felix has been involved in numerous BHS productions, most notably last year's Cinderella, where he played Prince Topher. "It's an honor to be playing Gomez in my last high school show. I'd like to thank my family, friends, and teachers, both past and present, for inspiring and supporting me. And, of course, thanks to all of you for coming to see The Addams Family!" Sylvia MacNab (Morticia Addams) Sylvia is a senior at BHS and will be attending Michigan State in the fall as a Human Biology major on the Pre-Medicine track. Some of her favorite credits include Ella in Cinderella (BHS), Acrobat in Matilda( Mill Mountain Theater), Jackie Scott in High School Musical (Mill Mountain Theater), Helena in A Midsummer Night's Dream (BHS) Brigitta in The Sound of Music ( Mill Mountain Theater), and Small Allison in FunHome (Virginia Tech School of Performing Arts.) Outside of theater, Sylvia enjoys backpacking and is in the Junior Crew of Blacksburg Volunteer Rescue Squad working to get her EMT license. She would like to thank everyone who has helped her grow as a performer throughout her years on stage. Enjoy the show! Emma Harvey (Wednesday Addams ) Emma Harvey is a junior here at BHS who is thrilled to have an excuse to glare at a wall for 2 hours. Favorite credits include Cinderella (Gabrielle) with BHS; Matilda (Ensemble) and the Sound of Music (Marta) with Mill Mountain Theatre; and the Secret Garden (Dreamer), the Addams Family (Ancestor), and Annie (Annie u/s) with Virginia Children's Theatre. She'd like to extend a shout out to her cat, Ginny, who taught her everything she knows.

Jackson Howland (Fester Addams) Jackson Howland, a Junior at BHS, is excited to bring The Addams Family Musical to the Blacksburg High School theater stage. He has been in past roles such as Charlie/Mr Greenway (Elf) ,Mike ( Take5), OldGreen Grasshopper (James and the Giant Peach) , andFrank (Dirt). He hopes you enjoy and can take you on an adventure of a lifetime through his contrasting part as Fester. Jessie Hogan (Pugsley Addams) Jessie is excited to be back on the stage as Pugsley Addams! She was most recently in Bad Breath, James and the Giant Peach, and Cinderella . She would like everyone to know that she is, “just a silly gal.” Izzie Valluzzo (Grandma Addams) Izzie is excited to be back on stage for her Sophomore year. Her past productions include, Miss Beth, James and the Giant Peach, Phantom Tollbooth, and Shrek Jr. She would like everyone to know that she is "102 and thriving!" Alex Dickerson (Lurch Addams) Alex is a Senior and has been involved in theatre at Blacksburg High School since his sophomore year. He has appeared in roles such as Steve in " A Cold Day in Hell'' by Keith J. Powell, Egeus in Shakespeare's "A Mid-Summer Night's Dream" , Lord Henry Wotton in "The Picture of Dorian Gray'' , A member of the ensemble in Rodgers and Hammer Stein's "Cinderella" , Lloyd Alvis Loftin in "Dirt" by Mandy Conner, and will be closing out his senior year playing a "dead?" butler who has to deal with FAR more than his share of cleaning. He plans to begin studying Music Education with a minor in Theatre at James Madison University in the fall of 2024. "I would like to thank all of my cast and crew, as well as everyone who has supported me in these past three years. Enjoy the show!"

Daniel Filiatreau (Lucas Beineke) Daniel is a Sophomore and was recently in James and the Giant Peach and Dirt. " This show has been such a great experience and I wouldn’t trade it for the world! Thank you for supporting all these amazing people by showing up :) (stream Lasso in 4 months.)" Austin Seaton (Mal Beineke) Austin is a senior this year and is excited to be on the BHS stage for his first musical! Austin has participated in choir all throughout his High School career and has plans to attend Virginia Tech in the fall. Ellen Riegger (Alice Beineke) Ellen is a Junior and is excited to be part of The Addams Family! She was mostly recently in The Staggering Heartbreak of Jasmine Merriwether, and has been a part of numerous Mill Mountain Theatre Productions. Enjoy theshow! Madeleine Dye (Bride Ancestor, Understudy Morticia) Maddie is a Senior and is excited to be back on the BHS stage! She most recently directed The Staggering Heartbreak of Jasmine Merriwether, and has acted in James and the Giant Peach and Dirt. Maddie will be attending VCU for theatre in the fall. “Huge shoutout to Ms Gruver (who is definitely gonna see this on the form before it’s printed, Hi Ms Gruver!!!) for being endlessly patient with me even when things were hard. Having you as a theatre teacher this year has reminded me why I want to do this for the rest of my life.

Sam Farmer (Groom Ancestor, Mal Understudy) Sam Farmer is a Sophomore and is excited to be back on the BHS stage! Past productions of Sam's include: Shrek , Cinderella , James And The Giant Peach , Phantom Tollbooth , and the Senior Directed One Acts. Sam would like to make a shout out to, "Keiyth and Elliott for first giving me the confidence to try acting." Madi Lucero (Saloon Girl Ancestor, Wednesday Understudy) Madi is excited to be in her first spring musical! Her past productions include, Newsies and The Little Mermaid (Summer Musical Enterprise), The Nutcracker ( Blacksburg Ballet), and Frozen Heart, Cinderella, and The Wizard (Little Leapers). “I feel so beyond lucky to have been a part of this production with so many talented people, and I have loved every minute. Finally a huge thank you to all the teachers for this opportunity and for making this so special.” Evie Perks (Cowboy Ancestor) Evie is a Junior at BHS and has so much love for this show and cast mates and is so proud of the show we put together. This has been one of the most amazing experiences She has had in the theatre department, and will be forever grateful! Eve Freday (Cavewoman Ancestor, Pugsley Understudy ) Eve is a Freshman this year and would like to make a shout out to everyone in Addams and this years’ past productions of James And The Giant Peach, Dirt, and SDOAS. "You are all so wonderful and talented and I’m so lucky to have put on shows with you. Also shout out to all of the seniors for being so kind and caring towards the underclassmen (especially Skye Baker and Maddie Dye)!!"

Bowie Pertchik (Caveman Ancestor, Lucas Understudy) Bowie is excited to be back on the stage for his Sophomore year. Bowie’s past productions include, The Staggering Heartbreak of Jasmine Merriwether, James and the Giant Peach, and Cinderella. Bowie would like to shout out to our amazing tech crew who made all this possible! Dylan Malik (Conquistador Ancestor, Fester Understudy) Dylan is a Senior and is thrilled to be back on the BHS stage. His previous shows have included: Mary Poppins Jr. , Elf Jr., Cinderella, James and the Giant Peach (as the Centipede). Skye Baker (Renaissance Ancestor) Skye is a Senior this year and was recently Jasmine Merriwether in the Staggering Heartbreak of Jasmine Merriwether. She isvery excited to be a part of Addams Family for her last show at BHS! Zephyr Heflin (Colonial Soldier Ancestor) Zephyr (they/them) is a Shakespeare nerd who's very excited to be in their first musical on the BHS stage! This year, they participated in three other shows at BHS. Some of their all-time favorite roles include Lefou in Beauty and the Beast Jr. and Kristoff in Frozen Kids, both at BMS. They would like to say thank you to all their fellow actors and techies who have made their first year in high school theatre a really wonderful experience! Abigail Herrera (Pirate Ancestor) This is Abigail's first time performing in a BHS spring musical. This Sophomore has been singing since she was young and has participated in the school choir. She is currently a member of the Madrigals. In her free time, Abigail likes to read books and play the piano. She is looking forward to participating in more musicals in the future. Sailor Long (Nurse Ancestor) Sailor is a Freshman and is excited to be back on the BHS stage! Her past productions include Bell in Beauty and The Beast Jr., Aunt Sponge in James and the Giant Peach, Young Anna in Frozen Jr., Young Fiona in Shrek Jr., and Jane in PeterPan. Isabelle Nunn (Maid Ancestor, Alice Understudy) Isabelle is a Junior and is excited to be back on the BHS stage! Her past productions have included the Senior Directed One Acts (Freshman year) and Cinderella.

Sailor Long (Nurse Ancestor) Sailor is a Freshman and is excited to be back on the BHS stage! Her past productions include Bell in Beauty and The Beast Jr., Aunt Sponge in James and the Giant Peach, Young Anna in Frozen Jr., Young Fiona in Shrek Jr., and Jane in PeterPan. Isabelle Nunn (Maid Ancestor, Alice Understudy) Isabelle is a Junior and is excited to be back on the BHS stage! Her past productions have included the Senior Directed One Acts (Freshman year) and Cinderella. Allie Eastwood (Stewardess Ancestor) Allie is very excited to be part of this production and shoutout to Ruby! Past productions include- Peter Pan and Wendy (Tinker belle), Shrek Jr. (Dragon), Phantom Tollbooth (Minister), Cinderella , James and The Giant Peach (Narrator), Every Novel You'll Read In High School In 25 Minutes or Less , and MissBeth (Beth's Mom). Alexa Rascher (50s Diner Girl Ancestor) Alexa is a Sophomore and is thrilled to be back on the BHS stage. She would like to shout out "my Aunt who encouraged me to audition and has supported me throughout my life, my older sister who hates watching musicals but comes to watch me anyways, and to my parents who drove me home after rehearsal every week for the past few months." Laya Garza (Flapper Ancestor) This is Laya's fourth and last show at BHS! She was recently in MissBeth and James and the Giant Peach. Laya plans to attend William and Mary in the fall. She would also like to say,"Hello Mom, Dad, Bella, and Sam I love you all very much!" Sara Kaufman (Flapper Ancestor) This is Sara's Freshman year and second performance with BHS theatre after being in the Senior Directed One Acts. "I would like to give a special shout out to my parents for supporting me and my brother Ethan for paving the way for me." Ella Lawrence (Ballerina Ancestor) Ella is currently a sophomore at BHS. She is so excited to show what the cast and crew put into this show! "We have put our time and hearts into the Addams Family and are so excited to share it. I have adored being in Cinderella and Addams Family these past 2 years. I would like to thank my Dad, brothers, and grandparents for all of their support. And I would like to give an extra thank you to my Mom for always encouraging me and being my biggest supporter."

Charlotte Munsell (70s Ancestor, Grandma Understudy) Charlotte is back on the BHS stage for her Sophomore year. She has previously been in James and the Giant Peach, Phantom Tollbooth, and the Senior Directed One Acts. She would like everyone to know that, "I never missed a single rehearsal for any show I was in this year. Also this show is fun yayy go us!" Enna Lucas (Cheerleading Ancestor) Enna is a Junior and is excited to be back on the BHS stage! Her past productions include Rodgers and Hammer Stein's "Cinderella.” Enjoy the show!
