2024 Ruritan National Convention Program

Convention Chair’s Message Welcome to Winston Salem!! We welcome all our attendees and guests to our 2024 Ruritan National Convention. We have planned a great opening ceremony, an awesome Friday night carnival and fantastic family entertainment. Our family entertainment includes Tara McClary Reeves, Deanna McClary and the Phil Urban family. We begin with our Patriotic Thursday theme to have a wave of Red, White and Blue to show our pride and enthusiasm for our country and the American Flag. Friday’s theme is R.E.D., Remember Everyone Deployed, by wearing an article of clothing that’s red in color. Friday night we have a carnival of games for your enjoyment. We close the carnival with a magic show. Saturday’s theme is Ruritan Family Day. We have the business of Ruritan to take care of at our business sessions Friday and Saturday. We will hear our candidate speeches, voting to elect our new officers, hear from our National officers and the Foundation auction. Your leadership committee has worked very hard to provide you with workshops. All are informative and educational but you have to attend to benefit from the great instructors they have selected for you. The youth committee has planned a great and interesting time for our future leaders, our youth. We have our history boards, candidate’s tables and your National Board members conveniently located for you to meet and talk too. Take this opportunity to meet and get to know them because we are all Ruritan Family. Meet old and find new friends, enhance your Ruritan knowledge and refuel your Ruritan enthusiasm.
