HOW TO PURCHASE BULLS AT THE AUCTION IF YOU CANNOT ATTEND:

1. To Bid via Tel-O-Auction If you will be unable to attend this sale, you can do your own bidding via a conference telephone hook-up. Buyers interested in this option should call the Virginia BCIA at 540-231-9159 prior to sale day. On sale day, until sale time, buyers should call 540-230-2680. You will be assigned a unique bidder number with which to do your bidding. The sale manager can answer any questions you might have about using the telo-auction system. During the sale, bidders should call 800-309-2350. You will be prompted for an ID number – enter 4505514 followed by the # key. You will be asked to state your name and then you should be connected on the conference line. 2. • Find your sale (listed in date order) • If you have an account log in, if not click “ create new user ” After logging in, you are able to view the sale. If planning to bid, register for a buyer number by clicking “ register for a buyer number ” in the top right-hand corner. Fill out the registration information, and click “ register now ”. You will then be “ pending approval ”. Once approved, a bidder status approval email will be received and the bidding number will appear in the top right of the sale page. We recommend registering for a buyer number at least 24 hours in advance of an auction. Sale day requests may still be accommodated.
