Special Recognitions The Chair asked President-Elect Guy to come to the podium to assist him with special recognitions while he took his place on the presentation stage. President-Elect Guy asked all Ruritan members with 50, 55, 60 and 65 or more years of membership, to stand to be recognized. President Danny walked among them to shake hands, congratulating them on their dedication. President-Elect Guy stated that Ruritan Forever is our life membership program. He asked all those who have received Ruritan Forever status during 2017 to stand. (These are listed in the Annual Report on page 13) He later asked for all who hold Ruritan Forever status to stand. President-Elect Guy stated that membership recruitment is the life blood for the local club and Ruritan Nation. He asked those who had received the President’s Golden Key award in 2017 to stand. He later asked for all Golden Key members to stand. President-Elect Guy asked all members in clubs winning Gold Community Service awards in 2017 to stand and be recognized. President-Elect Guy announced the following award winners as the awards were presented by President Danny.
